Luminous Water Solutions has been in business for over 65 years. Known formally as Gordon Brothers Water, we were founded by Lloyd Gordon in 1945, a true pioneer in the brand new industry of water treatment. Lloyd passed away in 1988, but has left his mark upon the company and upon the entire water industry.
In 1985, Luanne McDaniel, along with her former husband, opened up Gordon Brothers Water in Meadville, Pennsylvania under the guidance of Lloyd and his family to serve Northwestern Pennsylvania. With just one part-time installer, Luanne worked the office, then evenings and weekend shows and fairs. Over the years, customers became friends and their referrals made the business what it is today.
Hard work and dedication have paid off. In 2008 Luanne decided to expand into the Erie and Chautauqua areas. She decided to change the name to “Luminous Water Solutions”…why? “It’s new and refreshing and the name says what we do!” Luminous Water Solutions is a full service, water treatment company.
Luminous Water Solutions has provided water treatment systems to over thousands of customers, both residential and commercial. Our Service department and Water Specialists continue to educate on the latest in water treatment from the Water Quality Association, a non-profit organization representing the water treatment industry.
