WINNER Bellagio

This house was designed for comfort and style in mind. The builder wanted to offer all of his usual stylish elements but in a not so large home. The floor plan eliminates wasted square footage by opening up the first floor design and reducing hallways. This house is highly energy efficient with its foam insulation and high efficiency forced air HVAC system. The interior is designed for warmth and comfort with Bellagio's own French trim package with large painted crown and baseboards. The 9'walls are painted with a natural tan to sooth and a double sided fireplace semi-divides the dinning room from the living room. The cognac stained hardwood flooring add charm and ambiance.

This house plan is an award winner for the builder from a previous year. The homeowners saw the house and fell in love with it. They worked with the builder to bring their own style into the home. Features of this house include hardwood flooring throughout the 2,500 sq.ft. first floor with the exception of ceramic tile in the laundry room, main bathroom and large master bathroom suite. Oversize painted trim was used throughout the house with a three piece 9 inch baseboard catching your attention. Five inch crown molding was used in every room along with tray ceilings in the dining room and master bedroom. Bead board wainscoting and a ceiling trim right out of Town and Country magazine finish off the main bathroom. Also throughout the house round columns are very prominent along with arches which begin at the front porch and carry though the arched front door to several interior arches. The fireplace has a double mantle with large pediment trim making it look very stately. The kitchen has granite counter tops and is very open to both the great room and dining room. The master suite is set off in its own section of the house with double doors leading into the bedroom.
