Kitchen Construction
At the owner’s request, the existing kitchen of this classic styled home needed more room. A 12-by-17-foot addition was added to the existing kitchen that would expand the kitchen and allow for an island and a comfortable amount of room for gathering. A custom soffit was constructed to mimic the shape of the island, and a patio door was installed to allow easy access to the existing deck. The powder room was remodeled to flow with the new kitchen theme. A structural beam was carefully constructed and installed to make the new addition blend with the exisitng space. In fact, the new kitchen fits the house so well that it is hard to imagine that it was once half this size. Custom cabinetry was installed with all new appliances.
