Kitchen Construction
$50,000 + Winner Cessna Construction

At the owner’s request, the existing kitchen of the classic
styled home needed more room.
A 20’ by 16’ addition was added to the existing kitchen,
with a pass-through cut in from
the new kitchen to the existing family room. The existing kitchen
was gutted, LVL beams
were added to support the structure above, opening the existing
kitchen into the new
addition. The new kitchen layout, with an island, was crated with
ease of movement and a
comfortable gathering place for the family was created. Ceramic
tile floors with floor heat,
granite countertops and a custom-built range hood are just a few
of the features that
makes you feel right at home in the new kitchen. Custom crown molding
and decorative
tile above the countertops help the whole design flow together.
In fact, the new kitchen
fits the house so well, it is hard to imagining that it was once
half this size.
$26,000-$50,000 Winner Cessna Construction

At the owner’s request, the existing kitchen in
a traditional two-story needed a complete
renovation. The renovations would be limited
to using the existing kitchen area. The
outdated cabinets and layouts were redesigned
with a more work friendly kitchen
layout and modern appliances. The owners
flare for styling is evident from angle, but yet
the kitchen flows with the theme of the rest of
the home. New cherry flooring and painted
bead board ceiling, with recessed lights, were
added. An antique church pew serves as a bench at the kitchen table.
An antique ceiling light
and an antique freezer chest were incorporated into the design
by the owner. A desk area was
added for convenience office work in the kitchen.
