Up to $20,000 Winner Whitetail Electronics

Safety and entertainment is what Whitetail provided for this homeowner.
The home is equipped with a full fire/security system. A smoke detector
was placed in every bedroom on each floor. The security system protects
the incoming doors with recessed door
contacts. Flush mounted glass-break detectors and pet motion sensors
(ignores the pets) throughout the home. A driveway sensor was integrated
into the security/fire and AV/EC system. When a vehicle approaches
the residence, remote chimes alert the homeowner, at which time,
he or she has the ability to see the front-door camera on an TV in
the
home. The AV/EC is a multi-room distribution amplifier that accepts
an audio signal from the homeowner’s existing stereo receiver.
Any music sources connected to the receiver (CD, DVD, XM Radio, IPOD,
etc. will be available for listening in any room that has speakers.
The source selected, at the receiver, will send audio which is independently
controlled, in each room, by in-wall volume controls. The unit features
many telecommunication features from any touch-tone phone, allowing
the ability for paging throughout the home. A door station, at the
front door, provides the ability to talk with whomever is at the
door. The doorbell, when rung, mutes any music playing and broadcasts
a chime tone throughout the home. When the telephone rings, the same
muting takes place so the phone may be heard. Paging and the doorbell
are heard through the home and in the pool area. Speakers were installed
at several locations including the master suite and bath, kitchen,
laundry, second-floor hallway and bedrooms, garage. Weatherproof
speakers were installed in the outdoor areas. Two separate high-end
home-theater systems are integrated into the AV/EC system. While
watching TV or a movie, the rear speakers of both surround systems
will broadcast the intercom, telephone,
doorbell, etc. as previously explained above. The family room surround
sound speakers are white in color, blending well in the existing
environment. The basement speakers are installed in the ceiling .
A lifetime warranty exists even if the house is sold.
Winner Grieshober Plumbing

This project consisted of bathroom, water, waste, and gas lines to
a pool house. Multiple plumbers looked at the project and felt it could
not be done or that 25’of customer’s family room floor
would need to be removed. We designed and installed a drainable
plumbing system, with detailed instructions for start up and winterizing.
The system was minimally intrusive and freeze-resistant water piping
was used where appropriate. A lot of work was fit into a small area
in both the pool house and the basement access area. One notable item
is the sewage lift with an extended cover was installed that allowed
us to avoid any basement trauma.
